1-Valeroyl lysergic acid diethylamide hemi-L-tartrate, otherwise known as VALERIE, is a psychedelic research chemical and is a derivative of lysergic acid with an ergoline backbone. 1V-LSD is a prodrug of LSD and is an analog of 1P-LSD. Since it is a prodrug, it shares many similar properties with LSD itself, but also with 1P-LSD, 1cP-LSD, and 1B-LSD. However, as reported by our research group, Valerie also has some distinctive features, such as increased visual effects compared to 1cP-LSD and 1P-LSD.
